SCPGREY is designing and producing Volvo’s car brochures (one for each model) for the global market, in 20 or so language versions. The brochures are mainly used in Volvo showrooms to support the potential buyer who is already some way along the purchasing process, and may even already have test driven a Volvo. Our assignment begins with a strategic process which then results in a creative concept for the brochure communication. We establish the main message, graphic design and visual language, and then select photographers and locations for producing pictures and delivering print-ready files. During the production phase we have direct contact with the various marketing companies around the world so we can adapt the content and offering to local specifications. We are also responsible for the final repro and print quality according to ISO norms. In all, around 2.5 million car brochures are printed every year.
