GreyShopper, the global shopper marketing network, has promoted Sarah Green, MD of GreyShopper London, to the newly created role of CEO GreyShopper EMEA. Rob Sellers, currently director of GreyShopper London has also been promoted, stepping into the MD role.
The appointment comes at a time of rapid expansion for the ambitious network, which has grown through the acquisition of shopper marketing agencies around the world and organic growth, particularly through P&G client wins. Appointed to Gillette’s Global Shavecare business earlier this month, the company has also just hired Peter Viento as its first global Group ECD from US agency, Colangelo.
Already shopper lead for P&G across EMEA, as CEO of the region Sarah will take full responsibility for overseeing the ten GreyShopper agencies across the market, helping to build the identity, positioning and reputation of the network as well as grow core shopper strengths and complementary skillsets. She will report to global CEO Joe Lampertius.
Under Sarah’s leadership GreyShopper London has achieved record growth, winning valuable new business including Lucozade, Volvo and Helly Hansen and building the P&G account from four to 14 brands. Sarah also led the team to win the Braun Global FMOT and eFMOT business for London. Importantly, she has driven awareness and understanding of Shopper Marketing within the Grey Group helping to put shopper thinking and creativity at the heart of the offer to deliver on the agency’s promise of famously effective work.
Rob Sellers, who has played a pivotal role in driving the growth and integration of GreyShopper within the Grey London business, has been promoted to take over as MD of GreyShopper London. From leading the charge on United Biscuits and bringing the IPM and Grocer Gold award winning McVitie’s ‘Sweeet’ to life in-store to playing a significant part in Grey London's General Mills integrated pitch win, Rob is a very strong and respected successor to Sarah.
Sarah said: “I'm delighted to be leading the GreyShopper charge across the EMEA region. We have some incredible talent and the untapped potential in the shopper and activation arena is ripe for further development - particularly as clients are more focused on the channels that convert the sale than ever before."
Rob added:“GreyShopper London has quickly developed into one of the very best Shopper and Activation agencies around, and it’s a privilege to lead the next stage of the agency evolution, working closely with our colleagues at Grey London.”
David Patton, President & CEO Grey Group EMEA "I'm thrilled that Sarah and Rob are taking on these new roles within Grey Shopper. It's great that we're growing our own talent and I have no doubt that their leadership will significantly enhance and broaden our Shopper capabilities across the region.”
