Quick thinking and fast turnaround has secured GREY Africa two consecutive days of free print and digital media space in The Times’ Creative Challenge. The competition opens up agencies to the opportunity to secure exposure every day in The Times print edition, and on www.timeslive.co.za; rewarding the most creative execution of a trending news or social topic.
Grey Africa’s ‘Tito’ campaign for Cellini and ‘#AskMmusi’ for Cartrack secured them top honours on Thursday and Friday this week, winning more than R200,000 media space for their clients and two entries into the Loeries print category.
“The Times Creative Challenge has really rallied the agency team,” says Glenn Jeffery, Creative Director at GREY. “It’s given us the opportunity to demonstrate the famously effective thinking that underpins our agency ethos, and gives us yet another chance to push agency integration by taking topics that are trending on social media, and then have them reiterated into an idea that works in print and on digital banner space. It’s been a great week of fresh, quick ideas!”
