Grey Shopper was tasked to create a memorable, limited-edition packaging design for Olay's festive gift packs.
We elevated a simple seasonal promotion pack brief, to remind the shoppers about the joyful and magical spirit of Christmas. We brought alive this spirit through city specific designs, and delighted them with a sound of jingle bells and motion activated lighting as they opened the box. The cityscapes from the pack were used at festive roadshows to create the perfect photo moment, while some of the packaging design elements were used to dress up the Olay retail counters, across China.
As a result, Olay grew its department store basket size by 114 per year, 6 points above the full year average!
