    This is the story of webe, a new Telco brand that could have settled for being the 5th mobile service provider in Malaysia with a market of 44.11mil mobile subscribers dominated by the 4 key strong competitors.

    So how do we breakthrough the codes of plans, data, coverage, speeds and price as the last entry to the mobile telco space? How do we reach out to Malaysians to demonstrate that webe is a different brand?

    Our solution: Launching a brand 3 months before we had anything to sell, using an app to push QR codes – a dormant technology many had written off – as the key means of mobile engagement to reach out to our audience and get them really (really) excited about us.
