In September, the inaugural Grey Europe Media Council took place in London with over 30 attendees from 15 agencies across the Grey network as well as partners including Wavemaker and WPP Media Solutions GmbH.
The Council aims to promote integrated creative and media practice around the network by sharing capabilities and experiences amongst offices across the region and establishing new ways of collaborating.
This approach and a closer, more integrated partnership with media agencies means that clients can benefit from the creative approach of Grey underpinned by the buying power and insights from Groupm. Ultimately leading to more effectively targeted, easier to manage and Famously Effective communications.
The Council was run by Ian Taylor, Head of Corporate Development for Grey Europe.
“Not surprisingly, clients are looking for better value across the entire marketing spectrum. We believe that delivering better insights at the intersection between brand and consumer delivers that. When we combine media and creative in the communications planning process, that’s when the magic happens. Right now, it may be the exception rather than the rule, but we want to switch that round.”
