Our Summer Camp for young creatives sees two talented winners!

    By Grey Amsterdam | October 4, 2016

Summer can be a dark and lonely period for eager advertising students. Two months of unbearable nothingness stretching out in front of them like the 800.000 square mile Gobi Desert.

But, salvation came with CAMP GREY.

A four-week summer program which enabled young creatives to work on briefs for existing GREY Amsterdam clients like Volvo, Nationale-Nederlanden and Eurojackpot as well as an open innovation brief. The creatives could work on those briefs together as a team going down the Amstel in a canoe, or just by themselves from the comfort of a lazy lounger at their favorite beach bar.

In collaboration with the creatives, the best ideas will now be further developed and presented to the clients.

We briefed the creatives on coming up with famous ideas that will penetrate popular culture and of course drive business results. Each week saw 3 contact moments with the students. On Monday’s we briefed them, on Wednesday’s we reviewed them and on Friday’s they had to present their final idea(s). We’re definitely very impressed with the maturity of some of the ideas that were presented.” said Lionell Schuring en Frank van Rooijen (ECD’s GREY Amsterdam).

The winning team consists of Soheima Maradiaga & Lennart Schoterman who both have won an internship at GREY Amsterdam starting on the 1st of November.

Camp Grey will definitely return in 2017.
